Hill will be in Washington D.C. and will attend the inauguration.Amid reports that some members of congress plan to boycott the inauguration, Hill issued the following statement:“The peaceful transfer of presidential power stands among our nation’s most cherished traditions. Whatever our individual political beliefs and party affiliations, let us all join together as Americans to give thanks for the stability of our great republic. Let us do as Lincoln asked: Let us be guided by ‘the better angels of our nature.’ This is not the time for division, nor is this the occasion for politics.”
